Restoring the Past with Modern Manufacturing

At InnoFab, we love giving classic engineering new life, and this recent project is a perfect example.

A customer came to us with a broken washer bottle from a vintage car, no longer available to purchase and too damaged to repair. Using a combination of 3D scanning and CAD modelling, we accurately recreated the part to match the original dimensions and mounting points.

Once the model was complete, the washer bottle was 3D printed in a single piece from high-performance Polycarbonate (PC), a material chosen for its impact resistance, heat tolerance, and translucent appearance. The result? A fully functional, one-of-a-kind replacement that seamlessly fits and performs like the original.
