When sourcing parts locally isn’t an option, reverse engineering and 3D printing provide the ideal solution.
In this project, we recreated several plastic bracket components that form part of a larger outdoor product system, originally produced overseas and difficult to obtain in Australia.
Using 3D scanning and CAD modelling, we accurately replicated the parts and printed them in ASA, the exact same material as the originals. ASA’s UV resistance and weather durability make it perfectly suited for long-term outdoor use under the Australian sun.
The result? Precision-matched components that integrate seamlessly with the existing system, offering both performance and longevity.
Whether it’s a replacement or part of a production system, InnoFab can make it happen.
